I currently own the IOGear 2 port KVM with audio, but after 1.5 years of frequent use (switch probably 20 times daily), the IOGear started to lose communication with the keyboard occasionally (once a week). Somewhat annoyed with this behavior, I decided to try another brand in the TRENDnet.
I was very disappointed in the performance of the TRENDnet and will be returning it (either keeping my IOGear or trying another brand).
Issues:
-maybe it was just my PC but had alot of trouble getting my USB to reocgnize my TRENDnet (and I am computer savvy guy). None with the IOGear.
-compared with IOGear, the screen resolution is slightly fuzzy
-when you switch with the ScrollLock, you have to wait 1 second between 1st and 2nd keypress or it wont recognize (with IOGear, you can press key twice as fast as you can and it would recognize it).
-after 3 'switches' from PC to PC, TRENDnet started losing all communication with keyboard & mouse and that was the last straw for me.
Maybe I just got a lemon but I would rather deal with a slight inconvience once a week in my old IOGear than deal with this every 15 mins.

We purchased 3 of these and they work great. I use them with PC's and with Solaris UNIX systems. They are compact and simple to use.
I wish Office-Depot would also carry their 4-port model.
I was able to get phone support too - to ask about the Solaris systems. They said if it didn't work, they'd be happy to refund. Of course, it worked great.
